Friday 10th July - Oakwood

OAKWOOD!

I love this place. I went on all the big rollercoasters, apart from Hydro because some girl died on it a few years back, so that makes me think "HAH no." when people mention me going on it.

Megaphobia is still the best <3
SPEED made me feel like I was going to DIE but it was still legend.
The Pirate Ship was still awesomely stomach-turning ;]

And I got shat on by a seagull who happened to be flying overhead.
apparently my mum was impressed because all I did was wipe it off and swear revenge on the bastard instead of bursting into tears like she apparently would have.

Fucking great day otherwise :D

Thursday 9th July - Manorbier

Today we went to Manorbier Castle.
Was pretty good, although I've seen it before, so nothing new.. haha.

We went on the beach there afterwards, but it was too cold to go in the sea, so I sat and froze on the sand instead XD

Wednesday 8th July - To Tenby

We were supposed to leave at 7.00 this morning, but ended up leaving at 7.30 instead cause my mam forgot some stuff at Mark's parent's house in Jame's room, so we were all getting in the car when she burst out "I FORGOT SOME STUFF!!" and we all had to re-pack the trailer again.

Then we finally left, and were at my nans in about 2 hours, as there was no traffic ^^.
When we got there there was no one in, but it didn't matter as we were only picking up some fishing rods before setting for for Tenby <3

When we got there, we pitched camp and then went off to eat Chips (After meeting up with Mark's parents and my "Auntie" Lorraine).
IT WAS SO GOOD.
Then I went and said hello to our family friends who own the sweet shops there before going swimming at like, 10pm, cause I'm cool :P

Tuesday 7th July - London

All day on a bus usually sounds boring right?
Wrong.

Today it was "Bus tour round London" day (Even though I'd seen most of it before anyway, but oh well xD)
We had this crazy tour guide, who sat there telling us about all the different sights, called Phil. He was so funny. Can't really remember that much now, but I remember it was way cool xD

Then it was off to the Trocadero Center in Picadilly, where I bought 2 t-shirts, a watch, a pair of those sunglasses that have slits in them (They got the Union Jack on the frount 8D) and some little things from the shops there. The flashing lights and colours are amazing x_x

Then we went to the Pasaje Del Terror, on the other side of the Trocadero Center, which incidentally was only a 10 minute walk away from where the Harry Potter premier was going on AT THAT VERY MOMENT. (I was very tempted to ditch the Terror thing and go stalk Draco Malfoy instead *drool* but my stepdad wouldn't let me <_<)

Ahem. anyway, I digress. The Pasaje Del Terror was kinda like Gastern Ghost Hotel (However you spell it) In that you walk around holding onto the person in front while shit jumps out at you, only this was actually scary.

I can't remember all the chambers, but I can remember some of them.

The first corner you go round you meet a monk who tells you that you must complete the labyrinth as it is the only way out, to hold onto the person in front at all times and NOT to run. you walk for a few seconds round another few corners, and then you have to walk through a chamber where there is a fence on your right, behind which is a guy dressed as a Zombie who is smashing a shovel against the bars. Once the last person (In this case, me -.-') has gone halfway through the room holding onto the others, the gate opens and the zombie comes running out screaming and shouting while chasing after you till you round the next 2 corners.

The same sort of thing happens a few times and then you reach halfway where you see the monk again. "Well done to have made it this far, you must all stick together now, not long left to go. In the next room is a girl. She is the prettiest girl in the world, yes she is, but you MUST NOT LOOK HER IN THE FACE, or doom be upon you!! Continue now, and pray you make it to the end.." and then you're off again.

When we went round the next corner, everyone had their heads down looking at the floor. All you could see from this position was a load of flashing white lights, like lightening, lighting up the floor and the feet of the person in front of you, and you could hear this girl screaming and cackling. Once round the corner everyone looked up and forward to the stairs ahead, but me, being the dickhead that I am, looked back to see what was behind, only to see a woman dressed like the girl from "The Exorcist" running like a spider behind us all. This shocked me so much I started screaming, meaning the other 7 people ahead of me turned round to see what it was about and subsequently started screaming and running too.

Oh how I like to boast about being able to make Mass-hysteria run wild.

Again this happens a few more times (Although, even though it's pretty much the same thing each time it does not get boring or predictable at all, in fact, I loved it.) till you come running out of the door at the end, change your shorts after shitting yourself so many times, and carry on your merry way home, looking over your shoulder periodically expecting to see some disfigured person running after you.

All in all? fucking ace :D

Monday 6th July - Bluewater

It's the biggest shopping center in England I believe, and if it's not, TAKE ME TO THE ONE THAT IS!

Sunday 5th July - Hampton Court Palace

Hampton Court Palace. Former home of Henry VIII. It was fun :)

On the way there we saw a sign by a church that said "There's probably no bus, so come and enjoy God" LOL. It was next to a busstop. That busstop is known for ALWAYS being missed by busdrivers because hardly anyone wants to get off in that estate hahaha.

Our GPS took us down some country road, meaning we were driving about like fools for about an hour before finding the ACTUAL way to Hampton Court, but oh well.

I met a guy who works there called Ian Franklin who told me all about ghosts and stuff, and is known in the Parapsychology community as being a very good referance when looking for work. He said that he'd send me a letter saying he's talked to me and it convinced I am genuinley intrigued by the paranormal blah blah blah. Basically I'm going to get my first referance to universitary already :D

Can't wait ^^

Holiday to England (The journey there)

FRIDAY 3RD JULY
Woke up at 6:30. Left 10 minutes late at 7:25 to go to the vets for some vaccine that the dogs had to have to cross the borders.
Everyone was squashed in the car, I couldn't move my legs at all xD

Practised my french a little, seeing as we'd be going through 3 countries where you must speak french if you need help and can't speak dutch (France, Holland and Belgium).

Estimated time of arrival in Hamburg: 14:46.

My camera batteries were dead, so I had to wait till we got to Denmark to take photos so that Mark could go buy some more X_X
There were SO may lorries about, it was weirdly scary diving next to them all. It felt like you could be squashed at any moment D:

I slept all the way to Varberg haha.
We got to Denmark at 14:30 after crossing a bridge where there were windmills IN THE SEA. Why?!

Estimated time of arrival in Hamburg: 15:30.

Mark swapped with my mum once we reached Denmark so that she could rest from driving, but it didn't last long - after an hour or two when we reached a second toll bridge she swapped back cause he kept drifting from side to side in his lane O.O

Estimated time of arrival in Hamburg: 19:30

We then spent half an hour looking out the windows for any signs of a petrol station as we were running out FAST. We found one, and subsequently topped up on gas. I then insisted we listen to Michael Jackson for a bit, so my mum put in my MJ CD, only to take it out again after 2 songs because she found his voice annoying. Pfft.

We reached the Danish/German border at 19:35. Everyone was tired and wanting to eat tea, so we stopped off and ate.

Estimated time of arrival in Hamburg: 21:30.

When on the final leg of today's journey, we past a field that smelt SO bad, even though the windows were up and the AC was on, you could STILL smell it. THIS IS WHY I HATE PIGS.

We got to Hamburg at 22:30, almost 8 hours after our initial arrival time, because we had to drive at max 100kmph on the motorways and shit because we had a trailer, so we got absolutely no time to see the city, we just had to go straight to sleep, although, the campsite we were stayingat was SHITE. It was horrific.

SATURDAY 4TH JULY
Mam woke us up at 4:30 this morning because she HATED the place we were staying. She couldn't sleep because it was annoying her so much, so after a few hours she woke everyone up and we set off about 4 hours earlier than planned XD We left at 5.

By 9:00 our estimated time of arrival in Calais (to get the ferry to Dover) was 14:00.

I tried playing "I Spy" with Mark, but when it was his turn to choose, he chose things that no one could ever have got, so I gave up and told him he failed.

The radio stations in Holland are great - just like in England haha. we had loads of fun listening to random Dutch music, and listening to the news was also a laugh :P

I slept for a bit before getting to Belgium at 13:17.

We reached France at 16:15. Time of arrival in Calais: 16:54.
I love France. I changed my mind from all those Anti-French things, it's beautiful. I'd love to go on holiday there.

We reached Calais at 17:01, so were able to get the 18:00 crossing instead of the planned 19:00 crossing, which was good. It was fun being able to see both France and England at the same time in the middle of the English Channel.

We landed in England at 18:37 Local time (19:37 Swedish time), so although the crossing took 1½ hours, we only actually lost 30 mins ;]

We drove past a sign for Ramsgate (LOL <3) and were at Mark's parent's house by 8:45pm :)
